A great tragedy and a loss for Canada

I have known Oscar for several years and know him to be a productive member of his community, a dedicated family man, and a hard working person who’s full of life and compassion for others. Oscar has significantly integrated himself into Canadian society, and to remove him from Canada and his family would be a great tragedy, and a loss for Canada. I enthusiastically support Oscar Vigil’s campaign to stay in Canada.

An injustice that cannot be describe in words

Oscar, your friends, relatives and people in general from El Salvador, a poor country but with much political maturity, we support you in your fight against an injustice that cannot be describe in words. To split a family (deportation) in a country like Canada, which is supposed to be a hundred thousand times better than El Salvador for its humanitarian policy, justice and equal rights… We’ll support you forever. Could the authorities be aware of what they have decided and revise their decisions.

Such a waste

My dear friend Oscar Vigil and his family had been threatened to be deported to El Salvador. It is a shame and such a waste that a country like Canada deports a citizen that since his arrival has made a significant contribution to the Hispanic Community and to this country. I am devastated having to be in a position to support a campaign that should have never existed, because very few people deserve so much privilege to live in a country free of violence such as Canada. I want to express the support from me and my family to Oscar, Carolina and their children (Frida, Larissa and Yarince, 17, 20 and 23 years old ).

He would be threatened if he returns

I am writing in support of Oscar Vigil’s refugee status. I undestand that he has been denied refugee status here in Canada. I would ask the Canadian government to review his status. Should he be returned to El Salvador he would no doubt be threatened. In order to preserve the family as a whole is another reason for revisiting his case. Thank you.
